Underdog (2008) FILM
with James Belushi and James Lee.

Review by Margaret Walton
Underdog is a film with every thing in it, comedy, suspense, love and wonderful dogs. The film starts with our hero, 'Underdog' working as a sniffer dog for the police. He inadvertently oversteps the mark whilst on duty and is returned back to the dog pound for re-homing. A scientist called Barsinister runs the dog pound for his evil experiments and after a freak accident in his lab our hero develops special powers.
This story is straight from the comics and works so well as a film. It is definitely 'Home Alone' meets '101 Dalmatians' and more where canines and humans interact so well together. A very funny story from beginning to end which thoroughly entertained me, There is great acting in the film too and not just from the two legged thespians. There is something for every dog lover and all types of dogs too, look out for the three Alsatians, the Rottweiler, the King Charles Spaniel, boarder terrier and Boston terrier and of cause, our hero, the beagle. If dogs could talk I am sure they would give this film 10 out of 10 and put it high on their list of favourite films.
A thoroughly entertaining film for all the family and one I would happily watch again and recommend to anyone wanting good wholesome family fun with oodles of that wonderful ' feel good factor.'
