Dog friendly restaurants, cafes and bars within reach of London

At London Dog Forum we don't know a Londoner that doesn't sometimes feel like jumping in a car or on a train and getting'the hell out of London' even if it is only for a daytrip.

What is great about this city is that within less than 2 hours one can be in a totally different environment - deep in the countryside or beside the sea.
But a trip out of town is so much better when the dog comes too.  This is why we have decided to add a category of dog friendly restaurants within reach of London that are dog friendly and well worth the visit.

Some of the restaurants are also listed under our 'dog friendly out of London breaks' but all these places could be included in a day trip.
