Puppy Classes
One of the best ways of introducing your puppy to new experiences under safe conditions is to attend a well run Puppy Class. Here he will learn basic training using positive methods and will meet many different types of people, children, dogs and objects. The class should be fun and educative for both you and your puppy. It is important to find a good class run by an experienced tutor and we would recommend anyone looking for a local puppy classes to do some research on the standard of training before joining. Remember that an unpleasant experience can have a lifetime affect and bad habits are hard to overcome.
London Dog Forum is very pleased to recommend ‘The Puppy School’ and we are lucky enough to have three of these tutors in the London area. The Puppy School was the initiative of animal behaviourist, Gwen Bailey, to prevent behaviour problems among puppies and to encourage friendly, well-behaved dogs for the future.
