Is it wrong to feed a dog chocolate?

choc350.jpg

Chocolate contains a substance called theobromine that is poisonous to dogs but they would have to eat a very large quantity of dark chocolate for it to be fatal.  All the same it is not a good idea to feed your dog human chocolate, even in small quantities.  There are many tasty dog treats on the market for your dog to enjoy but be aware that many of the more palatable treats have a high fat content, so be sparing with these treats to avoid obesity.
