Guard Dogs Act 1975

The use of guard dogs shall not be permitted on any premises unless the handler who is capable of controlling the dog is present on the premises and the dog is under control of the handler at all times except when:
a) it is under the control of another handler
or
b) while the dog is safely secured so it is not able to walk freely about the premises.

A warning that a guard dog is present must be exhibited at each entrance of the premises at all times.
