Dog Friendly Landlords and Estate Agents
As London Dog Forum and promoters of dog friendly London, we are constantly being asked if we know of dog friendly Landlords and Estate Agents in the city but, as anyone who has tried to rent a property with a pet in London knows, it is not easy. Naturally we understand that potential landlords are concerned about the damage, mess and smell a pet might make in a property, but in our experience pet owners are even more vigilant about keeping a property clean and in good condition because they are well aware of the bad press might get!
Now that the pet passport scheme allows easy access for pets into the UK, there are even more people looking for pet owner rentals. Many European and American families are sent over here to work for short periods and naturally it would be upsetting for them and particularly their children to have to leave their family pet at home.
At last LDF has had a breakthrough and has started to find dog friendly landlords/estate agents but we know there must be many more in existence, so please, if you know or if you are a dog friendly landlord or estate agent, please let us know there is always a demand for pet friendly rental properties.
