Comments on 'Dog Walker's Van Stolen With 11 Dogs Inside'
Just RT'd your post about the dog walker and the stolen dogs. What a moron. The owners must have seen the van before and known they had several dogs at once, it's no good saying now they'd never leave dogs in hands of person with so many dogs. I don't think the numbers are as much of an issue as someone stupid enough to leave a load of dogs and keys in the ignition. His quote I agree with, it would have been just as serious had it been just one dog.
My other question is what is happening to the woman who did it? I'd have sacked them.

In response to your recent post re stolen van belonging to dogwalker in charge of 11canines.
My heart goes out to the owners of the missing dogs.
I find it preposterous that the owner of the company has the front to say that the number of dogs is irrelevant. Ok, in one respect this is true, from the point of view that one dog missing/abandoned & tied up awaiting its possible rescue or fate, is one dog too many.
I believe that there are very reputable people out there doing this work who take it very seriously.
They do NOT take on more than 4 dogs at any one time. However my feeling is that if you take on more than this AND have the stupidity to leave your car keys in the ignition then you should definitely not be taking care of people's pets, not even one!....I wouldn't dream of having my dog walked in a pack as large as the aforementioned. It is a recipe for all sorts of possible disasters.
In respect of leaving one's car for even 2 seconds in this vulnerable position - you don't go there in these times we live in! There are opportunists out there all the time. What a stupid & thoroughly irresponsible thing to have done.....
