All Dogs Matter is a registered charity. We are a voluntary dog rescue based in London.
Our aim is to rescue and rehome dogs in and around London and surrounding areas.
The dogs who come into our care are strays, from pounds or simply dogs whose owners no longer can or want to keep!
Unfortunately, there is a growing demand for rescue services in the current climate, as more and more unwanted dogs find themselves in need of new homes. Our job is to pair each dog with the best new owner for it, ensuring that it will be safe, cared for and loved for the rest of its life.
Our work is done in three stages:
- identifying and taking on the dogs in need of help;
- placing the dogs in foster homes where they can be assessed, checking their health, microchipping, neutering & vaccinating them;
- finding a home for them.
Another important aspect of dog rescuing is education. ADM often collaborate with the local authorities to help teach responsible dog ownership and raise awareness about animal welfare. In 2010, we have visited schools in North London and we are hoping to develop that aspect of our work in the months to come. (see our 'Educational Visits' link above).
ADM are a team of passionate dog-lovers. We work hard to help rescue as many homeless dogs we can. We could not do so much without the help of our volunteers, be they foster carers, drivers, home-visitors. We are also grateful for the donations we get for the dogs (money but also food, toys, collars, leads and blankets ...). We always welcome help in any form, so if you think you could give the dogs a little time and help in any way, we would be happy to hear from you.
